The Joyful Post ~ April Round Up
A DAY OF INSPIRATION
I recently spent a day in London listening to an incredible lineup of speakers, including Henrietta Rix from the fashion brand Rixo, Alex Head from Social Pantry, and Cath Kidston, the name says it all!
There were so many moments that stayed with me, but a few key takeaways really stood out:
And yes… a personal highlight had to be Cath Kidston saying she liked my outfit, one I won’t forget anytime soon!
Beyond that, it was a powerful reminder of how important it is to step away from the day-to-day. To listen, to learn, and sometimes simply to feel reassured that you’re on the right path.
It was also very special to be back in London, a city I lived in for over ten years, where we had our first baby, and still, without question, my favourite city in the world.

BEACH VIBES
A recent family trip to Cornwall has sparked our new Summer collection launching in June. Think primary bold colours, quirky illustrations with a painterly brush, playful stripes, and scattered spots, with little seaside treasures. A little sneak peek of what we will be launching in just over a month's time.
FROM MOODBOARD TO MEETING ROOM
Last month we shared our moodboard… and now the big reveal.
We have transformed our meeting space into a vibrant, welcoming hub for everything from team brainstorms to customer catch-ups. We have zoned the space by layering a rug, reusing our branded boards from trade shows, shelves proudly showcasing our awards, colourful chairs that add that little extra pop of colour and display shelves for our cards. It is a space now we all enjoy and feels more on brand than the grey warehouse!

MANTRAS & MUSINGS
We’ve started sharing more of our mantras and musings over on Instagram, and one from last week felt particularly needed:
Life can feel heavy. To-do lists grow, work can feel overwhelming, and it’s easy to get swept up in it all.But bringing a little silliness into your day? It really does help. For me, it’s putting music on and dancing around the kitchen with the kids. It’s simple, a bit chaotic, and always lifts the mood.
What’s yours?
NOTES TO OUR YOUNGER SELVES
As a team we’ve been taking time to reflect and one conversation was - “What would you tell your younger self?” From gentle reassurances to bold encouragements, it sparked honest and thoughtful chats. What one thing would you tell your younger self?
